The St. Luke's Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II performs selected tasks to support the delivery of safe effective cost-efficient patient care as delegated by the RN or technical staff. Under the supervision of the RN or technical staff the Cath Tech II independently scrubs during diagnostic procedures and operates radiological and other ancillary equipment used during cath lab procedures. Performs selected diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures within the guidelines of training. Provides assistance pre and post catheterization patient care transporting transferring and lifting patients. Performs cleaning functions in the patient care area.
A Cath Lab Tech II working in the St. Luke's Diagnostic Cath Lab must be a motivated self-directed individual who is capable of working well with a team and is able to function in a dynamic high-volume area. This position also requires accuracy in documentation flexibility in work routines and the ability to learn new technologies and equipment. It is the responsibility of the person in this position to respond to all patients visitors and other customers professionally and in a caring manner. Minimum Job Qualifications

Minimum Job Qualifications: Must have 3-5 years in healthcare enviroment. Must be able to participate on call and be available within 30 minutes of notification. Must be either CVT ( Cardiovascular Technologist) or Registered Radiology Technologist. CVT RCIS or CIT
