The Company specializes in the recovery of energy rich hydrocarbons from petroleum production waste streams. The Company has operational facilities in Oklahoma and Texas, with plans to build-out additional storage depots and production facilities in oil producing regions.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Vice President of Operations will lead, direct, and oversee all industrial operations including: P&L responsibility, process engineering and plant design, production scheduling, staffing, maintenance programs, safety compliance, and oversee the construction, commissioning, and management of multiple plant and storage depot locations. Emphasis will be placed on the ability to lead a team to maximize effectiveness & on-time production efficiencies. Candidate must have solid background in process management/operations in the oil and gas, chemical, manufacturing, or power plant industries. Candidate should have established relationships and be an active member in related industry associations. Candidate will be a vital part of the management team and be required to work and coordinate production with Sales & Marketing and business unit managers. Successful candidates should have min 10 years industrial general management experience and have a solid track record in industrial operations management. The Company currently maintains a production plant in Oklahoma with plans to build-out a network of plants in Texas, Louisiana, and other oil producing regions.

Specific responsibilities:
Monitoring and maintaining production levels to meet revenue objectives.
Maintaining quality and safety standards; maintaining cleanliness and preventative maintenance standards; documenting production processes; maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Maintaining quality production by testing process samples and conducting periodic inspections, and recommending process improvements.
Maintaining continuity among work shifts by scheduling resources, communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Ensure safety standards are in compliance with all regulations (OSHA)
Develops strategic plans by designing and deploying current and future plant designs, presenting assumptions, and recommending objectives/action items.
Accomplishes objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
Coordinates efforts with other departments including procurement, marketing, and logistics.
Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies, and reference to government regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Responsible for the safety and performance of approximately 15 employees, expected to grow significantly over the next 24 months.
Overseeing daily activity to ensure production needs are met.
Monitor and manage overtime as necessary.
Employee development via mentoring and performance feedback to individuals.
Facilitates conflict resolution.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or other technical discipline.
Must have a minimum of 10 years of direct leadership responsibility coupled with related industry experience, including managing distributed plant locations.
Skills:
Proven track record of developing and driving teams towards achieving production targets.
Excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to coordinate and prioritize a variety of projects while marshalling the resources necessary to accomplish them.
High levels of resourcefulness, influence and organizational savvy, as well as executive presence/impact. Must have unquestionable business and personal integrity and ethical standards.
Able to translate business strategy into pragmatic action plans and through execution obtaining cost effectiveness.
Ability to identify emerging shifts in the business environment and access the economic implications through competitive analysis coupled with the ability to make sound suggestions or recommendations to maintain competitive in the market.
Demonstrated ability to interact as a leader in a team-building environment with a wide variety of individuals from diverse disciplines, cultures and experience.
