Job Summary:
An umbilical engineer will have excellent working knowledge of the process of completing an umbilical project from FEED to commissioning. A strong knowledge and understanding of the governing codes for umbilical design, manufacture and test is required. Knowledge of the international standards and the requirements for the delivery of components including Steel tube, HCR hose, thermoplastic hose, and marine cables will be required. Candidates will be required to ensure conformance to specifications and procedures based on Engineering Analysis and design.
Candidates will have a minimum of 5-10 years progressive experience in the direct design, manufacture, and/or installation of subsea control umbilicals. Knowledge and experience with control systems and subsea equipment/hardware is preferred.
Requirements:
