Satellite TV Installation Trainers develop, plan, coordinate, and deliver training and development programs designed to meet organizational needs for staff level employees.He/She is accountable for the progression of the staff in meeting and exceeding customer expectations and workmanship.
Participates in needs analyses studies to assist Training Managers on the training needs within organization
Partners with management to identify specific work situations and skills requiring employee improvement, such as, better understanding of policies, procedures, regulations, technologies and human relations
Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual education, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops
Selects teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and resource materials
Executes testing and evaluation procedures to be used at completion of courses
Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as, on-the-job training, use of computers and software, customer service, sales techniques, health and safety practices, public relations, refresher training, promotional development, upgrading, and leadership development
Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of education program(s)
Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods
Revises design of training curriculum and methods to improvement effectiveness
Travel is required
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or two year of related experience; and one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
