In this critical role, where your attention to detail and dedication to safety is essential for success, we will rely on you to perform the following duties: · Conduct inspections and tests to ensure machined components and finished products meet quality inspection requirements and engineering specifications. · Record inspection results on appropriate forms. · Verify completeness and accuracy of inspection and manufacturing documents. · Identify and tag defective parts and materials. · Effectively communicate and report inspection results and quality problems. · Provide immediate feedback to appropriate personnel regarding nonconforming products. · Participate in corrective and preventive action activities, when appropriate.
Requirements
Requirements: * High School diploma or equivalent. * Prior experience in inspection of metal manufactured parts. * Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. * Experience with hand measurement tools such as dial indicators, vernier calipers and micrometers. * Experience working with computers including data entry and document scanning. * Good observation, attention to detail and organization skills. * Some knowledge of metallurgy and metal machining a plus.
