Outside Technical Sales Representative
Struers, () the world's leading manufacturer of material-testing equipment and consumables, is looking for an Outside Technical Sales Representative to generate sales of Struers Inc. equipment, accessories and consumables in Texas and Oklahoma. Primary duties include traveling to existing and potential customers to further equipment purchases, install equipment, and provide on-site training as required. Customers include fortune 500 companies in the automotive, electronics, telecom and aerospace industries.
Work from your home office, with support services and training from our US headquarters in Westlake, OH. Travel locally, nationally and internationally. Be part of a team of 25 sales representatives, in the field and at headquarters. Participate in annual training and meetings. Report to the Director of Sales.
The ideal Outside Technical Sales Representative has 3 - 5 years prior successful sales experience in industrial or capital equipment sales, is able to travel overnight, and will be the face of Struers Inc. for our customers.

Struers, with 40% of the worldwide market, has affiliates in 19 countries and sells materials testing equipment and consumables. Our customers rely on our products for Materialographic Sample Preparation, Microelectronic Sample Preparation, Image Analysis & Archiving, Data Management, Hardness Testing and Microscopy.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Generate sales of Struers Inc. equipment, accessories and consumables consistent with budget levels for the designated sales territory. Travel to existing and potential customers within a designated sales territory to further equipment purchases, install equipment, and provide on-site training as required to ensure proper care and use of equipment. Carry out sales administration tasks required to support sales activities and document changing customer profiles. Maintain records of customer contacts using the Pivotal software package, ensuring that key contact information is updated, appointment purposes and results are logged and forecast information is accurate. Provide Management with accurate forecasts of potential sales on an on-going basis. Maintain dialog with existing customers to provide technical support, product information and updated pricing.
Requirements:
3-5 years prior successful sales experience in industrial or capital equipment sales Bachelors degree required Ability for overnight travel Expertise with group presentations (PowerPoint) Knowledge of computer software programs, Microsoft Excel and Word Must be highly organized and have the ability to multi-task
