INVISTA is currently seeking a Plant Mechanical Integrity Area Inspector to join our team in LaPorte, TX. The Plant Mechanical Integrity Inspector will report to the Reliability Manager.
We are seeking candidates with the following attributes:

Responsibilities:
Execution of the Plant Mechanical Integrity Inspection Program
Leading on-stream and turn around inspections documenting the findings, analyzing the data, and initiating repair recommendations and tracking them to closure
Development of Equipment repair scopes and follow thru to ensure repairs meet regulatory requirements
Providing leadership to maintain/improve the Plant Reliability and in meeting INVISTAs goal of 10,000% Compliance
Provides contract administration/functional direction to contract inspection management on a routine basis
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
3+years experience in the field of inspection and non-destructive testing methods
3+years experience in piping integrity program implementation/maintenance experience
Certification in at least two of the appropriate API Inspection Certifications:
API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector
API 570 Piping Inspector
API 563 Above Ground Atmospheric Storage Tank Inspector
Experience using Ultra PIPE and CAD
NDT certifications to ANST-TC-1A
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
Associates Degree and/or Diploma in Materials, Metallurgical, Welding Engineering Technology
Prior LaPorte Plant experience
5+years experience in the field of inspection and non-destructive testing methods
Level II NDT certification to ASNT-TC-1A
CGSB Certification in at least 2 disciplines
Certification in all three of the appropriate API inspection certifications:
API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector
API 570 Piping Inspector
API 563 Above Ground Atmospheric Storage Tank Inspector
Certified in API 581 Risk Based Inspection
Certified in API 571 Corrosion Mechanisms
Certified in API 577 Welding and Metallurgy
Certified Training in API 579 Fitness for Service NACE training
