Job Summary
Under technical direction, underwrites and analyzes new and renewal business. Administers and monitors underwriting rules and guideline, insurance laws and regulations, and rating annual rules. Works writing significant limits and authority on assignments of higher technical complexity and coordination. May provide guidance to lower level associates. Markets companies' products and services through an agency plant or through the brokerage community. Develops/maintains agency and /or broker relationships. Job Qualifications
A successful candidate will:
1. Possess a Bachelors Degree 2. Have 4 or more years of International Underwriting experience 3. Have established broker/agent relationships 4. Be able and willing to travel 40% 5. Have excellent communication and negotiation skills 6. Strong marketing skills with proven ability to generate new business 7. Proficient computer skills in Word and Excel
