Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of IM Coordinator located in Houston, TX through February 22, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
The Rosebank project is a greenfield oil & gas development in 1100m of water 150km NW off the Shetland Islands with an initial facilities investment of approximately $8 billion.
Facilities scope includes subsea systems, gas pipeline to shore, FPSO with large turret, moorings, risers and topsides facilities. Facilities engineering team members (Fac. Engineer, Process, I&C, Mechanical, Civil, Marine Systems, Hull and Mooring, Risers, Subsea, and Flow assurance) are currently working with Worley Parsons Engineering in Houston, Texas to complete Phase 2 engineering and the project Class 2 cost estimate by the end of 2011. Project assurance and approval activities and FEED bid preparation are planned for the first 6 months of 2012. FEED engineering activities will commence mid-2012. The project Phase 3-4 gate is scheduled for the end 2013 and first oil is targeted for late 2017.
As key member of the Rosebank Project Team, this position will provide leadership "by example" to establish and maintain an Incident and Injury Free culture at all contractor engineering, fabrication, and installation work sites. Position Details: Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
The Rosebank IM Coordinator (Houston) will work with the CUE MCP IM Coordinator (Aberdeen) to:
* Provide IM infrastructure, procedures, and support for the asset project offices in Houston.
* Coordinate with the project team in Houston, FEED/EPC IT organizations, CUE and company IT delivery organizations to implement the IM infrastructure.
* liaison with Houston project team and vendor IM organizations to deliver project IM systems and support.
* Provide general Information Management support to the project in Houston.
* Determine training needs, and implement a training plan for project team members for processes, procedures, and systems.
* Provide work direction for Document Control Team in Houston office.
* Provide Level 1 user support on the IM systems.
* Enforce project procedures and standards for items such as format, structure, retention, information protection, intellectual property, numbering system, creation, acceptance, and revision control.
* Coordinate the production and maintenance of the project Distribution Matrix with the Houston project team, and using this matrix to distribute documents as required.
* Deploy and manage work procedures for tracking and expediting project documents, including document reviews, approvals, and exchanges with company and contractor personnel.
* Develop the plan and coordinate the transition of project data to Operations at the end of CPDEP Phase 4.
* Develop, update and manage Document Management processes and procedures for working with and sharing documents both within the project team and with contractors/vendors as required.
Required Qualifications:
* Experience: 5+ years Information Management experience, with at least 2 years within an MCP. Very familiar with CPDEP project management terminologies, practices and requirements.
* Technical: Highly qualified, skilled practitioner in Information Management. Capable of performing as lead IM representative in a contractor's design office, or the fabrication yard. Excellent understanding of Information Management policies, standards, procedures (including MCPIM) and systems within Chevron MCP. Very familiar with standard IM DMS, collaboration and document exchange toolsets. Broad based understanding of IT technologies.
* Communication and Leadership Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively within multi-functional teams and FEED and Detailed Engineering contractors to ensure IM and stakeholder interfaces are properly aligned. Ability to communicate across multiple levels and across multiple sites utilizing standard technologies. Should be proficient with use of CSOC priming behaviors when working in group environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree in IT or IM related disciplines or 5+ years in IM/IT.
