Human Resources Consultant Category: Human Resources Description: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: ? Provides embedded HR consulting services and knowledge of various functions, including: employee relations, staffing, compensation, benefits, training, talent management; in support of business unit(s) operations, strategies, and initiatives ? Works closely with business unit(s) management to provide both strategic guidance and transactional support ? Establishes and maintains close relationships with all employees to provide proactive service ? Administers Human Resources procedures, plans, and policies within the business unit(s) ? Ensures applicable processes, practices, and documents are completed on various actions ? Serves as a business unit(s) liaison to other HR specialty areas such as: International HR, HRIS, Recruiting, Training, and Benefits ? Researches, analyzes, and reports on data and metrics pertaining to Human Resources ? Performs work on HR initiatives, topical research, and process improvements ? Coordinates and provides data for the processing of visas and work permits ? Performs investigations on employee related matters involving potential violations of HR policies or laws ? Conducts training on various HR related topics and initiatives ? Monitors and reports on employee morale and the general company culture ? Conducts New Hire Orientation on a periodic basis
Requirements: ? Bachelors Degree or equivalent directly related experience ? Strong interpersonal and client service skills; very proactive ? Experience in a professional service or engineering industry preferred ? PHR certification preferred ? Strong systems skills (e.g., Word, Excel, HRIS/Oracle) ? May require some U.S. travel
