This position is for a Field Service Representative (FSR) located in the UAE in support of the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) program. This is an international unaccompanied extended duty assignment where the candidate will be required to provide maintenance support on the HIMARS FMTV (Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles including HIMARS, RSV and Wrecker), their associated trailers and material handling equipment systems. The candidate will be required to use applicable technical publications, conduct inspections, perform services, repairs involving fault isolation and testing, to include the replacement of parts and adjustments to wheeled vehicles and material handling equipment systems, subsystems and components. These components can include power plant/packs, compression ignition engines and engine fuel systems, air induction and exhaust systems and cooling systems. Also included are the vehicle chassis and all requisite hydraulic/mechanical components including but not limited to; power train components, frame cross members, clutches assemblies, transmissions, transfers, final drives, propeller shaft assemblies, brake systems and steering systems, suspensions systems, fifth wheel assemblies, wheeled vehicle crane, hoist and winch assemblies, and hydraulic systems. The candidate will also be required to perform wheeled vehicle recovery operations. The candidate will also provide on-site proficiency training, technical guidance, liaison assistance and information pertinent to the evaluation of operational difficulties involving the equipment directly involved with the maintenance and operation of the system.
Must be able to obtain an interim Secret Clearance and a passport within the first 60 days of employment. Candidate may also be required to take a post-offer, pre-employment physical to determine ability to deploy to the UAE.
