Our team of energy specialists is experienced with all phases of risk management. Energy solutions range from conventional property, casualty, and exploration and production coverage's to nontraditional strategies that address large and complex energy risk challenges.
As a Production Underwriter, you will underwrite and analyze new and renewal Onshore Property business, and market Global Energy products and services through our brokerage community. You will additionally be responsible for developing and maintaining your broker relationships.
As with any underwriting position, you are responsible for administering and monitoring underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating and annual rules. You will have significant limits and authority on assignments of higher technical complexity and coordination.
This is an insurance position and requires insurance production underwriting experience. Due to the nature of this position, only candidates with property insurance experience will be considered.

Bachelors Degree Or Equivalent 4 Or More Years Of Related Experience 1. Demonstrated technical knowledge and skills reflective of progression of positions of increasing responsibility. 2. Excellent communication skills. 3. In-depth knowledge of line/s of business and the legal and regulatory guidelines. 4. Solid knowledge of processing methods and workflow procedures, and basic knowledge of insurance underwriting and regulations for assigned territories. 5. Strong negotiation skills. 6. Ability to effectively assess risk. 7. Strong knowledge of underwriting philosophy, techniques, national/local filing, regulations and guidelines. 8. Knowledge of time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business.9. Ability to multi-task. 10. Must be able to function effectively in team environment. 11. PC literate. 12. Superior skills in relationship building, active listening, needs analysis, and win-win negotiating. 13. Demonstrates strong presentation skills and a solutions and service orientation.
