Director of Facility Presentation (Sports Management/Finance/Admin)
The primary focus of this position is to run the day-to-day operations of the video operations, scoreboard operations and audio visual services for our Stadium.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversee production of Stadium videoboards, scoreboards and audio visual services. Manage process to develop video content, scoreboard content and audio content for our team that is used in the stadium. Interface on a daily basis with the Staff to coordinate in-game and out-of-game needs. Interface with all Stadium users to explain capabilities, needs and costs associated with using the HDS. Hire, crew and train the full-time and part-time staff to operate the Stadium's AV assets. Develop rate cards for the various equipment for end user use. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all videoboard, scoreboard and AV systems in the bldg, including negotiating maintenance agreements and service providers. Responsible for continuous development of new revenue streams Track emerging video trends and how they might apply to the organization Serve as a liaison to all broadcast partners making sure they have advance coordination and cooperation from the Stadium staff. Support negations with potential broadcast partners Support negotiations and execute all staff contracts Responsible for managing all broadcast and event presentation staff which includes but is not limited to: AV technicians, patch room operators, camera operators, LED technicians, audio engineers, technical directors, play-back operators and utility. Responsible for in-house television distribution throughout the facility including concourse television sets, suites and other spaces.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years experience in broadcasting or related field required OR equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of functions and operations of AV equipment used for a multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, tv network personnel, building tenants and the public. Strong written and oral communications skills required; conflict resolution skills preferred. Demonstrated leadership and managerial experience required Proven ability to take initiative Strong organizational skills 2+ years in sports and entertainment venue management strongly preferred.
