Construction Project Manager / Dirt Railroad Operator Denton, TX
Summary: This uniquely qualified individual will have responsibility for managing various projects within an assigned area across several states. Will provide senior technical and project management leadership and direction, working through managers to ensure projects are managed in accordance with internal and external expectations. The ideal candidate will have estimating skills, great communication skills, a working knowledge of various civil and railroad construction means and methods. Also some working knowledge of ancillary trade work such as mechanical and electrical work and finishes, environmental remediation, industrial maintenance, and other construction related tasks. This may include rail construction, turnouts, switches, and dirt work.
Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage the work of the team on while traveling and also on site • Must have past experience in rail related dirt and grading work • Train team in safety practices and monitor the work site for safety violations • Prepare all project related paperwork • Must be able to work directly with customers, managers, and executives. • Must ensure that company equipment and vehicles are maintained per company standards. • Must be able to travel extensively.
Work in Construction, Excavation, or Demolition Preferred
Experience Requirements: Five to seven years related project management with hands on construction experience is a must.
