The Assembly Mechanich will perform overhaul and maintenance on compressor, pumps, steam and gas turbine units. This position is located in our Leading Edge Turbine Technology Facility in Houston, TX. Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):
Required: * 8+ years experience assembling and disassembling compressors, pumps, steam and gas turbine units * Assembly procedures and methods * Basic reading, writing, and some arithmetic skills required. * Candidate must possess thier own hand tools. * Must be able to travel outside the US Position Responsibilities and Duties:
* Receives instructions, prints, and work routers for the job. Reviews details of working procedure, tools and material requirements. * Assembly and disassembly of compressor, pumps, steam and gas turbine units * Balancing rotors * Performing blue contact checks, clearance, check, bearing crush checks * Keeps equipment, tooling and work area clean, orderly and secure. * Uses measuring equipment to ensure proper dimensions given in drawings or instructions.
