Intel Corp Warns of Lower Third Quarter Sales Than Predicted

Intel corp. announced that their third quarter revenue will fall below predicted forecasts as the demand for personal computers has slipped.

Intel is the world’s largest chipmaker and estimates that sales in third quarter will be in the range of $10.8 – $11.2 billion, down from the predicted $11.2 – $12 billion. Chip sales have dipped below expectations this quarter due to a sudden shift in demand for personal computers.
